It is revealed that the two Lutece "twins" Booker and Elizibeth encouter throughout Columbia are in fact a parallel of the same person. Booker interrupts his baptism and leaves, created the significant branch point where the Booker/Comstock dichotomy is born. They travel to a point shortly after Wounded Knee, where Booker is being prompted to be baptised. They are there to journey back to the "beginning" of the complex conflict that is always the same with slight variations. In the ending, Elizabeth takes Booker through a 'Door' (noteworthy due to the sudden change in terminology from 'Tear') to an infinite number of lighthouses, each representing a discrete universe. After realizing it, he goes back to this original deciding point in time where he could be been 'reborn' through baptism. He does not realize until later that killing Comstock would do this to himself. The difference in name comes from a deciding point in his life where he could have gotten a baptism and be reborn under a different name (which would have been Zachary Comstock).īooker, in this new reality with his other self, sees what a horrible person Comstock is and all the hell Elizabeth is put through and decides to end him, which through Elizabeth's powers means he could kill Comstock before he was born and save Elizabeth from all this trouble. Booker is also Zachary Comstock (The Prophet) in multiple parallel universes, meaning that Comstock and Booker are the same person who have been brought together by means of an interdimensional passage. It is revealed that the game takes place in a multiverse. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment. I'm here to go "OMG DID YOU SEE THAT PART? THAT WAS THE BEST PART! OMG!" I can go on and on about my thoughts on this game but I'm not here to write a review. She gives me ammo, tosses me money, opens doors, and pats me on the back. There were moments where I felt like I was playing co-op with another player. She is honestly the best "follow the leader" NPC in any game. The game was so much fun, and Elizabeth's A.I. At the same time I'm walking through my house going "WHAT IS MY LIFE?!". I don't know, It was a very interesting story and end but. After I saw the screen go black from the cutscene I felt very.empty. Any who, it turns out that Booker is Comstock and the only way to end this confusion is by Booker's death. And Booker is all like, "Uurrrg!" (Just kidding). Then Elizabeth is all like "are you ABSOLUTELY sure?". Then the part where Booker is like, "I'm gonna kill Comstock and end all of this". Then they went into the whole many worlds and the stars-blah blah blah. Okay so, I was too busy freaking out when I saw them teleport to the first Bioshock game.
